It has been a time of reflection for me since I republished Jimmy Carter’s “The Carter Chart” for my last newsletter. Before that, I wrote a tribute to my dear friend and astrologer, Michael Lutin.
Then as I looked through my files, I found this People Magazine article that was published on October 24, 1994.
People Magazine lovingly called it, “The Six Hottest Astrologers in the World.” I knew that Michael and I were the last ones remaining from the article, so with Michael Lutin’s passing, am I the last Hottest Astrologer in the World? It’s a sobering thought, I do admit.
Regardless, it seems like the time to celebrate these amazing astrologers. I’m not sure how People Magazine decided who the best astrologers were, but they did a very good job at choosing. Here are the six astrologers they included: Joyce Jillson (Hollywood), Penny Thornton (English Royals), Michael Lutin (Vanity Fair), Susie Cox (Canyon Ranch), Patrick Walker (TV Guide) and Chakrapani (Vedic India).
People Magazine was clever and presented concise bullet point explanations for each astrologer’s style. Even though I’ve copied all the pages of the article here, I’ll put the bullet points up front for ease of reading.
Enjoy reading the People Magazine article. I’m sure it’s one of a kind and will never happen again.
