    The Party of Planets

The basis of astrology is the geometry between the planets. How are they connecting with each other? After that you add the signs and the houses for embellishment. We have a very unusual geometric pattern now. The planets have been this close for the last two months and will also be close for about the next two months. The internet is having a ball with this, although most of the information is inaccurate. I want to clear up some confusion and then look at this incredibly rare alignment.

The chart I’m including is when the Moon joins the Sun exactly. They have joined four other planets and are all in the sign of Aries. That is a full 60% of the planets in a huge cluster. There are ten planets and six of them are remarkably close together.

First, let me clear up the misinformation on the internet and in the media. Yes, the planets are close in a chart or with my astrology software on my computer, but that doesn’t translate to the heavens. Why? When planets are close to the Sun, they can’t be seen, so that means that Mercury and Saturn are quite close to the Sun and the horizon and therefore hard to see. Venus will be a little bit easier to spot if you know where’re you’re looking. Uranus, Neptune and Pluto always need a telescope to be seen. That leaves good old Jupiter, who has been shining brightly in the evening sky for months and will for months to come. So don’t try to look in the sky for the “Lineup of Planets,” because it doesn’t exist there.

But you can sure see the lineup of planets in this astrology chart. And yes, when you know what to look at, it’s stunning. Looking at the big picture first, there is only one aspect, which is a blue line, or trine. No red lines at all. When 60% of the planets are in one spot, no geometry can happen. I’ve never seen a chart like this before and I’ve seen more charts than I can count.

The planets that make this more critical are Saturn and Neptune, who have both just recently entered Aries. This transit in itself will change the world. Here is my article on Saturn/Neptune in Aries.

    https://www.susiecox.com/blog/saturn-and-neptune-enter-aries

Saturn has a 29-year orbit and Neptune has an orbit of 165 years. They only join every 36 years. What made this conjunction so important is that they joined at zero degrees Aries. That is the first day of spring, the first sign of the zodiac and basically the beginning of everything. Then the huge entourage of planets transited past both Saturn and Neptune to bring them to life.

Joining Saturn and Neptune are Mercury, Mars, the Sun and the Moon. There are so many planets in the first house that my astrology software had to expand the cusp to make room for all of them. I call it an Expando, which hardly ever happens.

Mercury and Mars together bring mental anxiety as they join both stiff Saturn and confused Neptune. The combination is more than stressful for the world right now. As I write this, bombs are landing in the Middle East as tensions rise.

Aries is the sign associated with the warrior, Mars. The challenge side of Aries shows impatience, angst and being a bully. With so many planets in Aries now, we will see people feeling pressured into making rash decisions. Fast and furious is the speed of Aries. Coffee is their drug of choice. The positive side of Aries makes definite decisions and can create new options. I’ve named Aries the pioneer of the zodiac.

It is important to realize that all this Aries energy isn’t happening to us. We are always in charge of how we handle astrology. This alignment can make us strong and powerful or stressed and angry. It’s our choice. Consciously counterbalance this extremely loud energy. Count to ten before you react. Breathe. Meditate. Take lots of naps. Be kind to yourself and to others.

Another significant planet to watch is Uranus, who is at the very last degree of being in Taurus, where it’s been since 2018. On April 26th, radical Uranus will enter the outspoken sign of Gemini and will remain there until 2033. We will all find our strong voices when that happens. I’m writing an entire article on Uranus entering Gemini for my next newsletter, and it’s going to be a wild one.

The only angle in the chart is a blue line from Pluto to Uranus, which is called Pluto trine Uranus. That positive angle will connect them until 2028! Pluto entering Aquarius is the actual beginning of the Aquarian Age. Uranus will empower Pluto with the intelligence and resilience necessary to move humanity forward.

Even though the world looks unpredictable and even a bit scary now, rest assured, it’s all part of our evolution. As a result, we will be stronger from this unusual astrology. Hang in there, folks. The birthing of a new age is never easy, but we can do it!
