A New Era Begins: All the Outer Planets Shift Signs

Now that every one of the slow-moving planets has changed signs, it’s time to pull it all together. My research has found that it is unprecedented for all these planets to change into new signs within a short 18-month period of time. The world has never seen this type of a total change ever before. How lucky are we to experience this now?

I’ve been writing diligently about all these ingresses. Here are my past articles for review.

    Pluto Enters Aquarius

    Uranus Enters Gemini

First of all, the rarer the occurrence, the more important it is. Jupiter has a 12-year orbit; Saturn has a 30-year orbit; Uranus has an 84-year orbit; Neptune has a 165-year orbit, and Pluto’s orbit is the slowest at 248 years. Since their speeds are so varied, there are typically big gaps between ingresses, which is when planets enter new signs, but not now!

Society enters a new stage whenever a slow-moving planet shifts into a different zodiac sign. Even when one planet changes signs, it is easily felt. We now have five planets that have all entered new signs.

Not only have they entered new signs, but they have also entered new elements. Pluto was in controlling Capricorn, and Uranus was in stiff Taurus, both earth signs. They have moved into Aquarius and Gemini, which are air signs. Saturn and Neptune were in watery Pisces, only to both enter extra fiery Aries.

So all the outer planets were in Earth and Water . . . which made Mud. They are all now in Fire and Air . . . which is like a Hot Air Balloon.

Pluto was the first to change signs when he entered Aquarius in November 2024. Saturn and Neptune entered Aries mid-2025 and made an exact conjunction at zero degrees Aries on February 20th, 2026. Uranus was the last ingress and recently entered Gemini on April 25th, 2026. I’m not going to include Jupiter since he’s not part of this configuration.

The first thing to do is to look at this very unusual chart. I’ve removed all the other planets except for Saturn, Neptune, Uranus and Pluto. I’ve given this chart a zero Aries rising, so we can focus on the planets in their signs and not have a random rising sign.

Saturn will leave Aries fairly soon, but Neptune won’t leave Aries until March 2039. Since Saturn is the fastest of this group of planets, I’m taking him out of the loop for this interpretation. The rest of the planets will be in this rare configuration until 2029.

These planets have aspects between them that I don’t usually use. You will notice green lines, called sextiles, which are positive sixty-degree aspects between the planets. The interpretation of a sextile is one of opportunity. The aspects I normally use are red and blue lines. Red lines are squares and oppositions and represent challenges. Blue lines are trines and represent talents and gifts.

One main reason this configuration is so important is that all the planets have recently changed signs, so every one of them is in a new phase or has just taken on a new personality. Pluto will be in Aquarius, the sign of death and rebirth, until 2044! Yes, this is the very beginning of the Aquarian Age!

Pluto in Aquarius: The Power of the Collective

The purpose of Pluto is to purge, expose and rebuild. The areas that will be targeted are systems of governance, the power of community, technology and digital infrastructure. Groups will be formed around common interests instead of geography. Decisions will be made by consensus and not by hierarchy with someone telling you what to do. Freedom and independence will be the result.

    Pluto will move us toward:

    • Online communities

    • Fluid identities and lifestyles

    • AI partnerships

    • Collective evolution

Uranus in Gemini: The Mind Awakens

The purpose of Uranus is to disrupt the old paradigm and suddenly replace it with the future. Uranus in Gemini will bring a new level of thinking and communication. People will speak more openly about what matters to them, both personally and globally. New forms of transportation will happen, such as air taxis, with new fuel sources, like magnetism. Hybrid humans will flourish as Singularity between AI and the body approaches, creating quantum leaps in intelligence. Uranus, the Rebel, in Gemini ensures those strong voices will be heard… outspoken, loud and brazenly authentic. The longevity of human life will even surprise the experts. Of course, accomplishing this transition will be encouraged, no demanded, by mighty Pluto. So here we have a power couple, who is relishing this crucial time of expansion and change. This is their time, and they know it.

    Uranus will move us toward:

    • Decentralized media

    • AI companions becoming normal

    • Brain-computer interfaces

    • Trade schools versus college

Neptune in Aries: Active versus Passive Spirituality

We need to top this off with dear Neptune, the planet of spirituality, meditation, intuition and wisdom. The purpose of Neptune is to dissolve old illusions and birth new ideals and philosophies. Neptune is the healer and is much needed in this planetary alignment, although Neptune in Aries will bring a modern style to this sweet planet, who  I’m sure will not be as sweet in this fiery sign of new beginnings. Healing will take on a fresh look with surprising discoveries materializing quickly.

    Neptune will move us toward:

    • Science and spirituality merging

    • Inner wisdom replacing gurus

    • Quantum fields becoming real

    • Replacing fear-based philosophies

Looking at the chart, Neptune is at the midpoint between Pluto and Uranus, equally connecting with both of these radical planets. (Uranus is associated with Aquarius, so as a result, they are giving us an extra dose of rebelliousness). This is where Neptune does its magic as a mediator to relax the intense energy. It’s like Neptune is giving a hug to both of these driven planets, making them feel calmer. We can thank Neptune for being the peacemaker.

I’ve always said that the Aquarian Age is going to begin with global revolution, which looks to be happening now. It won’t be easy, but it’s an inevitable future.

Evolution is not planned, it just happens. Astrology explains the style of change and is also a clock that tells us when it’s occurring. I love astrology.
