    Astrological Snapshot of the Spring

During times like these, astrology can really offer some comfort and insight. Even though I’ve already written the Preview of 2025, many of you have reached out with questions about what’s happening right now. So here is an overview of the key astrological events occurring from the Spring Equinox to the Summer Solstice.

My dedicated readers have learned astrology from my articles over the years and now we’re going to jump into real astrology. My intention is to always make astrology as easy and accessible as possible. Now let’s do a deep dive.

Looking at the big picture first, there are several rare astrological events occurring simultaneously which will amplify their collective impact.

Pluto’s entry into revolutionary Aquarius on November 19th, 2024 has significantly intensified global dynamics, leading to widespread demonstrations. In addition, Saturn and Neptune are soon entering Aries, causing confusion and uncertainty as they end their time in Pisces.

Then Jupiter enters the sign of Cancer and will square both Saturn and Neptune in Aries. Society will be in conflict with confusing mandates. The last opposition from Mars to Pluto happens on April 26th. Throw in both Mercury and Venus retrograding at the same time and you have an unclear, yet hopefully exhilarating mix. Why I decided to write this now is because of all that happens in the next three months!

The media has reported a significant alignment of planets recently, and yes, there is a huge grouping of planets in Pisces now. Though not all are visible, these planets form an extraordinary configuration or geometry in the sky, as shown in these charts.

Let’s start with the Total Lunar Eclipse on March 13th – 14th. As you can see, the Pisces party of planets now dominates the sky. This Eclipse was visible in North America and was seen as the Blood Moon and worthy of an Eclipse viewing party!

An Eclipse occurs when the Nodes align with the Sun and the Moon. A Lunar Eclipse happens on a Full Moon, while a Solar Eclipse occurs on the New Moon. The Nodes move in retrograde motion with an 18.6-year orbit. With the Nodes’ location now, Eclipses will occur near the Spring and Fall Equinoxes for a while.

Saturn and Neptune’s presence there makes this much more powerful. The Aries point, marking the start of Spring and the Astrological New Year, is crucial. It is the starting point of everything. It is so important that all of these charts are always calculated for zero degrees Aries rising.

With so many planets aligning here, we are ending a significant phase in humanity and entering a new era. We’re all witnessing society’s rebirth.

The Partial Solar Eclipse on March 29th will take place in Aries, a rousing way to start the Astrological New Year. Neptune enters Aries on the following day on March 30th. Given Neptune’s 165-year orbit, it will remain in Aries until 2039!

Mars has been opposing Pluto for months with the final pass happening soon. The first opposition was on November 3, 2024, during an extremely controversial election. The retrograde or second opposition coincided with the L.A. fires. The last opposition from Mars to Pluto will be on April 26th. A long-lasting Grand Trine between transformational Pluto and revolutionary Uranus and the South Node might lessen the impact. These are transformational times, and while I’m not going to predict specific events, the final Mars pass on April 26th will be significant on a personal, as well as a global, scale.

Just to add excitement, let’s include both Mercury and Venus retrograding. Venus is retrograde from March 3rd to April 12th. Ire surrounding women’s issues is likely. Mercury is retrograde from March 15th – April 5th, along with Venus. Pay attention to the fine print.

To finish off this quarter, Jupiter enters the sign of Cancer and squares both Saturn and Neptune. All three planets have recently entered new signs, which makes this much more important and jarring. Society will want a hug and will be needing help. Will help be there? We shall see.

We are entering a new phase in civilization, which will unfold in the coming months. This can be seen as unsettling or as an opportunity for growth and transformation. Both will likely occur at the same time.
