There is usually one planetary configuration that dominates each year, and the Jupiter and Uranus conjunction is the main event for 2024. It’s now time to look at Jupiter and Uranus. On April 20, 2024, transiting Jupiter will conjunct, or join, transiting Uranus at 22 degrees Taurus. Jupiter has an orbit of 12 years while the orbit of Uranus is 84 years. This conjunction occurs approximately every 14 years.
Each planet has a job to do, and the responsibility of Uranus is to bring the future to the world. Uranus likes to release the old patterns to make way for a new paradigm. This is the planet of technology, inventions, freedom, community, humanitarianism, revolution, sudden social change and the New Age. The challenging side of Uranus is fanaticism, chaos and defiance.
Uranus is associated with the sign of Aquarius.
Since Jupiter is the largest planet in the solar system, he brings expansion. Jupiter is the planet of abundance, beliefs, travel, divination, immigration, philanthropy and justice. The challenging side of Jupiter is religious extremism, greed and opulence.
Jupiter is associated with the sign of Sagittarius.
Jupiter and Uranus stimulate each other to form the perfect Dynamic Duo. Uranus loves breaking the rules, and Jupiter makes it even more dramatic. Since both Jupiter and Uranus are high energy planets, it is incredibly fortunate that they are joining in the earthy, stable sign of Taurus. Ideally, the new and exciting opportunities that present themselves will be grounded enough to actually get accomplished. We can all expect a surge in intuition, innovative ideas, releasing old patterns, creativity, seeing life from a new perspective, and drastic change. This will be felt, whether it is in regard to physical, financial or spiritual projects.

The year of 2024 won’t be easy but will be epic.
